Can you actually do anything against de-indexing?

One of my sites was more or less deindexed in October, for 3-4 weeks, which meant not a single hit from google in that time. It didn't get back to normal until it was relaunched with new design and everything. Since then it has done better and better, and google sent 45% of the total traffic.

Two days ago the site was deindexed again, 8000 pages gone and the few pages left lost all their rank (my signature links on various forums rank higher).

Is there anything you can do against this or it just to take it up the a$$? It is quite devastating for me since now I have to borrow money to pay bills.

This is a great question. I have a site that is deindexed but not banned, and I ran out of things to try to resolve it. I already sent a message to google, and received no reply.

Weren't a bunch of sex blogs deindexed? Perhaps google specifically removed your site for a personal reason or something.

Whats the difference? Is the deindexed less of a legal snaffoo if someone wanted to pursue it?

Just try to build back links rather than concentrating on content at least for couple of weeks. You might have added too many pages within a short period of time. "Slow and steady Wins the Race"
