Paypal .. verify without credit card?

Hello.
I was just wondering if I can verify my account without a credit card? (I don't have one I'm willing to get one if it's necessary..).

For Canada, I can add + validate my bank account information and phone in to verify my account.. but I have no credit card to add to my paypal

Has anyone verified without a cc?

Yes you can get a virtual credit card to verify your paypal if you don't have a real credit card. And it isn't really hard

It is very safe. Actually it isn't like a real credit card. Virtual Credit card comes with a balance (prepaid) and you pay a specific amount to get that card and that card has some balance in it. Either to verify paypal or to shop online. So don't worry about the security.
And for legality of virtual cards , yes these cards are legal. And paypal accepts them without any trouble.

You can verify your Paypal a/c by using VCC also, check out the services forum ,their you will find many offering these type of services and most importantly ask the buyer first if he is satisfied with the product.

Just a few last questions if you don't mind:
- Do I have to enter any personal bank information to get these cards?
- What type of information do I have to give to get a VCC?
- Can I cancel the card?

 

If you can get a CC then why not to go for legal stuff . Get a CC and get verified else you also mentioned that you can get verified by making a phone call .. nevermind I was wondering when you have the legal ways of getting verified then why not to go for that

I guess I can't put a credit card that is under my family member's name right? It has to be under my name?

If you are getting this card from a website then I guess you will have to fill out forms But when getting these cards from individuals (resellers) you don't need to fill any information forms.

And for your question, you don't need to give/put any information. You can use these cards with any name, address, phone numbers that's why these are called virtual credit cards

I totally agree with mixke try to get CC of your own(PP a/c holder name and CC member should match most imp).And will be painless in future also.Getting CC is not a big deal nowadays at least here in India
If are unable to get CC then you can look at other option like getting VCC.

 

As far as I know , The Paypal Account Name & CC Owner Name should Match .. you cant add your family member's CC in your account .

I want to get some verfied personal paypal accounts.

 

I guess paypal dont have any specific rule regarding VCCs < I never cared to look for them > but VCCs destroy the purpose of getting Verified .
