is there any tax element to be filled..anyone from India..please suggest... how will be paid do they send a cheque....to my mailing address..
Yes after you enter the 4 digit code, when you reach 100$, the next month to that you get a citibank cheque which can be credited to any bank account in any bank anywhere in india.
They will send you a check via regular mail (or via DHL if you choose to pay $25 as DHL fee), you should choose Indian Rupees for the check and it will be cleared very fast.
normally how long will it take to receive the pin and for the payment.. also please let me know is there any tax element involved here...
There is no tax element involved to the publishers who are in india (as far as i know, i received few cheques and never filled any tax info). And it took a month to me for receiving the pin.
There are paypal tax things that I know of. But have never heard of Adsense tax issues in India. I think you would be fine if you are earning below the Income tax limit, as the earnings that you have mentioned above are way below the income tax limit. My advice would then also be that you should fill in the income tax form on this March 31st and mention the details in it. It will be a 0 tax thing but then also records are better then headaches in future.
Well there is no special tax on the adsense income amount. You will get a check total $$ earned multiplied by currency rate in Rupees. And the whole amount can be credited in your bank account and is your income. BUT, the amount is a part of your income and so if you pay income tax then offcourse you need to show the adsense amount while filing your Income Tax Return.
Enjoy this new year with this first cheque from google...Any how try to file the income tax statement if it exeeeds your income of $1.5 lac per annum. Then u won't get any problem from finance dept...

no tax for indians... if you got 100 dollars in dec then you will have it by the end of january just go and withdraw hit ! enjoy i am expecting my cheque this january end
once you reach 100$ it takes a month to process the cheque, and another month for the cheque to reach you, then another few days to clear the cheque, and the cheque clearance fees was about 2.2$ or 103 Rs, anyways..........no tax............

I think you guys are missing the whole point. You are assuming that the guy doesnt make any money besides Adsense. Imagine a case, where a person has a job and he makes more than 2.5 Lacs per year and some adsense money say $1000 approx 46000 Rs. In that case his income becomes almost 3 Lacs. Now tell me if you need to mention it in returns or no? I am sure most of us dont know the answer. One of the tricky question is ..if we manage to declare it as money earned from "Export" but since we dont have a export license or any other documentary evidence it will be difficult. anyone has answer to this?
