Hello. This is my first post and I hope this is the right forum. I am changing all my internal pages so that they now link to the home page address instead of index.html. My question is does it matter as far as SEO benefits that the internal page link text is "back to home page" or would I gain more benefit if I linked back to my home page from each internal page using my main keyword phrase? Example: "My home town real estate" or "home page" Thank you in advance.
"My home town real estate home page" would be best. That way you have keywords for a bot to read and your users also know its a link to your homepage.
Absolutley, positively use the text link with keyword. And BTW, link your pages to other pages within your site, not just your home page.
