vBulletin owners - do you block the archive in robots.txt?

    I've heard people go both ways on whether having the Archive available to search engines will help or hinder your position within the search engines, but I've yet to see something concrete both ways.

    If you own vBulletin, do you have it available or blocked in your robots.txt file? Also why not share why you made that choice?

    Well many people believe if you duplicate content that it loses the value.

    Have you seen this yet? Pretty interesting interview with Vanessa Fox from Google that, amongst other things, questions if there really is a Google penalty for duplicate content.
