I am just wondering what others think about buying traffic from Google which links to my website. On my website I have all of my active eBay auctions running through a javascript link provided by eBay (not my Aff link). What I want to do is use my CJ Aff link and show all of my active listings on my website. Is this against eBays terms? All I would be doing is sending traffic to my own eBay storefront. From what I have read I would have to Have my CJ Link be keyword targeted for my store name so that the it pulls listings from my store only. Even if it did pull items from other eBay members I guess I could potentially earn from those clicks but I am more interested in selling the items from my eBay store. Is anyone else doing anything like this care to share some ideas or know a better way of doing all of this?
I'm afraid it is against eBay's TOS to promote your own eBay products via your eBay affiliate link. The only thing you can do is use AdWords to connect searchers to other eBay sellers products. Kelvin
I think it is allowed to advertise your listings/ebay store with adwords as long as you don't use an affiliate link because many people advertise their ebay stores with adwords.
if you use the ?refid=store and you have an eBay store you get 75% of your seller fees back... no need to the affiliate links :-0
