Did Sadham got the correct judgement?

You should make a poll. I think he didn't get the correct punishment.

As I mention in the other thread:

No doubt Saddam was a criminal, my only view point is he should have been tried solely by Iraq's people and / or the govt elected by the people of Iraq. Not by some people nominated by some other country. Else he should have been tried at some international court.

Also, per Iraq's law no body could be given death punishment if person's age is more than 70 yrs. Saddam was turning 70 in the coming April. Wondering, why so much of hurry.

Not WE... read the lines not in between the lines ...

Sadam should have been tried by the people of Iraq (govt of Iraq) elected by Iraqis.. not the govt that has been nominated by someone else

The only sinless man to ever live was taken in and crucified within 24 hours. Saddam had a fair slow trial in comparison.

Indeed. In the end, saddam received far more compassion from his countrymen then he ever afforded them. A fair trial and a humane, quick execution for the million(s) he butchered. He should be so thankful.

The longer he lingered in jail the greater the cause celebre. Yes there will be more death because of this execution. But it will likely spare some.

    Either way - fuck him.

No, everyone is not agreeing on the murders that Saddam committed. That is after all why he was put to death.

He was rushed to death before his trial was even completed. You call it good judgement? I say No!
