new car site

what do you guys think about the design so far?
the site is almost done, just need to upload all pages.

Looks like a good site and has a nice blending with the Adsense ads. I'd try using a different font on left-hand side bar though. I think you're using Times New Roman?? Anyway, it's a pretty default font and makes the website look like it's been made in a microsoft wizard or something. Looks "cheap"

Try Arial or maybe Verdana for a bit of class!!

 

thnx for the advice...but the reason i did it in new roman was so it would blen better with the left column since the font is same with adsense...

 

its a good start, I noticed some of the links were dead and the title suggests there's a forum but I couldn't find one! Is that to come?

Also have you thought about increasing the width as most screens are now 1024x768 you could increase the screen happily up to 990px?

I have one suggestion: For the font style on the left side of your site, why not change it to match the font style of the adsense ads? Might make it look more uniform

 

Well, looking at your site, gave me a shudder. Point being (my opinion): Too squared and bordered. Like kumiko83 said - looks 'cheap'.

Good thing being your banner is designed well with good use of colours and the graphic of the vehicle has impact. As for the side panel menu, the orange divider is too thick and overwhelming. I'd suggest to have the dark blue all the way. The footer which is with a border looks separated from the other elements.

Colours used are ok. Applying the few tweaks collectively as suggested by others, should do the trick. Oh, yeah, the font, suggest you do away with Arial, Times and look at verdana, tahoma, not bigger than 11pt.

I would say that you site look incomplete. Try to make it smooth and interesting adding some graphics. Nice idea in the header. Nice picture of the car but the composition looks like it is still in the development stage. The logo font is not readable.

 

Your links on the left menu bar are not working.
I would add more car pictures to your index page.
