Smashing Directory

    I just went live with this directory: http://www.smashingdir.com

    It's my first time using eSyndiCat and I modified the majority of it's functionality and completely redid the style. I would love some input from you Directory Masters and if you have the time - please feel free to submit a link :)

    Any constructive criticism is welcome!

    It looks great but it is not totally free because a reciprocal link is required

    Ahh, would you advise adding a "free" option until I get like say... 400 links or something? then set it to recip & paid only?

    Thanks, any advice in running a successful dir would be appreciated :)

    That would be great.You are unlikely to get any paid submissions for a brand new directory. Do post if you make it free. :D.

    My 2 cents is the text of the categories on the home page is too light...my eyes get too much abuse as it is from staring at a computer all the time...so when I need to really look at something its a turn off.

    Will submit as well if its free...the other pages look very good though.

    It's possible you mean our 1.2 version and we have released the patch long ago that fixes that hole.
