Am just a newbie. I have started a blog last month. I have good some back links( around 75. i.e when i usee link: in google i get 75 results) my PR is zero. how much time google takes to assign PR? and how many backlinks needed to get good PR?
Toolbar PR is uppdated about 4 times a year, Npbody will know when the next update will be, But if history is anything to go by it will be the end of jan. Don't worry about PR though. If google know about your links (they probably do) they will be factored in straight away. Toolbar PR is innacurate, outdated and useless.
Google PR is updated once in every 3 months Actually now its the time to update Pr and we are all waiting for that and also No body can say how many back links can take you to next PR but if you buy links from a PR5,PR4... sites and you may get some good PR It think the PR mainly depends upon how many links from the sites which has a PR?
Thanks for answering my query. Also i have just seen Google FAQ in the forum. so i think i have put up a wrong question. I request moderator to delete this thread if he finds it against the policies.
Dont go with PR it will update as the time come concentrate on getting traffic and build as much links you can
do not worry about it you are just a newbie so no problem with it It is not against the policies of the forum and always feel free to ask any questions here are many people here out to help you
Agreed! Having high PR value doesn't translate into high rankings for your targeted keywords. I have seen many PR0 sites coming up as No. 1 for keywords I searched. Make sure you use good anchor texts for your backlinks. Those links really count.
Basically true. But it does seem that Google does factor in PR to some extent in the search engine results ("Important, high-quality sites receive a higher PageRank, which Google remembers each time it conducts a search"). PR may only be a minor contributor to search engine results, but it does seem to contribute some. So it might not be wise to ignore it completely.
Yes now we are waiting for update but google update sites invisible pr every time so if you have good backlinks this is help your serp
Way off topic gps ??? no gas ....YES! 104 Octane really helps.... and if you want I can explain how to add some real thrill to your stang with a 150 hp shot By the way you shouldn't ride a pony
Yes I am awaiting the next update as well. I am also a pr0 (blog) I am just focusing on developing content and links. I also think it has something to do with the quality of links. A link on a pr 6 site versus 5 links on a pr 3 etc.., I would rather have the first one.
