Disapproved Ad:

I must be a bone head because G keeps disabling a few of my ads for the classic "Inaccurate Display URL" and I'm damned if I can figure out why...

    Has anyone run into this?

    Using an example domain name:

    Display: http://example.com/
    Destination: http://example.com/?src=google

The query string simply tracks where the click has come from and according to the TOS should be fine.

The only thing I can think of that might be upsetting Grandma is the URL redirects back to the main domain so that the client sees http://example.com/ in the ad and http://example.com/ in their browser when they get to the site. Personally I think that is being a good site owner and maintaining a "relevant" experience for the user.

If it is the redirect then we can all wave bye-bye to any kind of tracking of google ads - guess we'd just have the trust G on the numbers?

    Suggestions?

    Steve

I can track things without using any redirect. Anyone can.

No problem here, try resending the ad

I have some problems this week with ads wrongly disapproved by Inaccurate Display URL - I *think* that they are having some problem there.

If you get disapproved a 2nd time, hold and contact support.

    Hi there...

had the same problem. I didn't change anything and asked google again due the contact form to approve the ad. This time it worked.

I had the same thing. Inaccurate display URL could mean a lot of things to Google. They probably don't like your landing page.

I changed the domain, added some different contenet and am having no problems anymore.
