wii are here

I got my Nintendo wii console for christmas its a great console ive only got wii sports game which is ok for a while im getting the zelda game on friday are there any other good games i should pick up too?
Did you get a wii for christmas? what do you think of it and the games you have?

 

My bro bought one before Christmas. He beat Zelda already, loved the game. He's now got Avatar the Last Air Bender and is loving it. I've heard good things about Red Steel.

Yeah, Wii's amazing. My friend beat Zelda in like 3 days. It had him addicted like crazy. I tried out Wii Sports and it's really fun; almost like the real thing.

My bro worked at finding one for weeks. Went to a store to stand in line at least 6 times, probably more than 10.

 

Yeah unless you're willing to pay over $600 for it on ebay its almost impossible to get one at least in Canada and US. But the funny part is that they sold over 3Million of them!

 

Vrs the 1.5 M initial release of the PS3, which is easier to get. My bro actually stood in line for a new shipment to find out that they had PS3s on it, and several people groaned in disappointment.

 

my bro waited in walmart allnight to get one when it first came out; I have mixed emotions on it. yeah its cool with the controller and the movement and all but I just cant get passed the bad graphics ( Madden is almost impossible to play to).

Was anyone else very sore after their first day playing the wii?

 

I played the sports games for about 4 hours, and the next day I was a bit sore. It was well worth it though, it was fun to play, and a pretty good workout.

 

I was a bit sore after playing bowling my first time doing it, until I adjusted my technique.

 

Haha, definitely. The first three days you will ache like hell but after a while you get used to it.

 

Well I only played one game. I had to trundle off to my room after that and work on getting a class done. *Sigh* Still haven't had a chance to play it since.

On the bright side, I DID get my new computer in today.

Of course playing with that means I won't be playing with the Wii

 

Will get a Wii due to my support of Nintendo, will get a 360 due to the vast ammount of games coming out that have caught my interest.

 

I bought Zelda and Red Steel when I got my wii. Zelda is great, of course. Red Steel is also good. It just takes some getting used to. You actually have to point with the controller for your gun. Not as easy as it sounds.
