    Hey,

Okay so after a simple whois on a domain that I am interested in purchasing I see that the owner's details are compleely incorrect, false or severely outdated by a year or 3.

Isnt he required to ensure the details are kept up to date or he faces the possibly of losing the domain?

How am I suposed to contact him.

The domain only holds a cPanel default page, on a domain that has been setup but untouched.

    How would you continue.

kalyse when you find for certain domain name like in register.com and if it shows that the domain you are looking for is not available then it give the option to give the bid for that domain.
so try it if it works that way

Eh - did you even read the post? Information is outdated. I dont think there is much you can do if the information is outdated. Maybe try going to sedo's broker service.

Just go to whois.sc & check the details of the domain owner. An e-mail address is provided. Mail him or her on that e-mail address

His email address that he listed is for a domain that has been expired for over a year. (This is different to the domain that I want)

I thought he was required to keep everything updated.

Try using the Wayback Machine to see what that domain was used for in the past. Maybe you can find some information regarding the owner. Good luck

Do a WHOIS on them and get there email. Though be warned, Most people who own domains want lots of money for them. Some *censored* has a domain I want, it's PR0 and been on one of those 'Park your domain here and get cash' sites and he wants $1000 USD for it, I told him where he could stick it.
