Pligg is a PHP/MySQL script that you install on your web site to run a Digg like social bookmarking/voting system. Beta 9.0 was released on Dec 19th with lot of exciting new features: Demo site. I wrote a step-by-step tutorial on how to install and run Pligg Beta 9.0 on your own web site. Check it out if you are interested: Pligg Installation Tutorial. Feel free to ask any questions if things are unclear.
It isn't mine. It is the official Pligg demo site. A fresh install of Pligg would look (almost) like this.
I already know it but thanks for the thread! Now everyone will get a DIGG just like everyone owns a blog
Hi Took a look at your demo site as well as the pligg one - for some reason, your demo has the footer graphic running through the middle of the page? I thought it might be a browser bug, but the Pligg demo page shows up properly. Regards
I have already installed pligg here http://www.wrigg.net, you can submit article or news where the title can be directly link to your site.
Pligg is a CMS using which you can run a bookmarking/voting kind of site. Registered users can submit stories and others can vote on them.
What buttons are you talking about? Pligg isn't a exact replica of Digg. You have to modify it to suit your needs.
I’ve known about Pligg for some time now but think it still needs some minor fixes. One of the most annoying is that it takes forever to load. Either than that it has a lot of potential.
Emperor, I don't think your statement about loading time applies to all Pligg sites. Does this site take long time to load?
