Paypal help

hey guys ..

I have an unverified PayPal account and about 2000$ in it .. I wish to verify my account ..

Could I add my father's Credit Card (same surname) ?
Also, we are taking the CC solely for verifying Paypal ... Are all international CC's from banks like HSBC,ICICI etc supported ? or will they cause problems ..like the Address verification system (AVS) is not supported in India or somthing ?

Is it safe to withdraw amounts like 2000$ via cheque in india ? Has everyone who have requested cheque got it within a month ?

Finally, what is Expanded Use Program ? Is it just the addition of the CC ?

I am from India.

Get an addon card on your own name if you can and then add it to your paypal.

Moreover don't expect your first payment to India within one month.

It takes some more time for it to arrive.

Is it safe? Yeah it is I have done this before. Wouldn't like to disclose my financial data here but in short I can say that $2000 is safe.

yeah it will work, as you are not treated as verified untill you ad 4 digit code sent by paypal. Paypal charges 1.95$ on the credit card you add and you will see the same in your fathers monthly statement, you will find this 4 digit in the transaction before or after the word Paypal not sure about the exact location. the 1.95$ is refundable when you pay someone first time after ur account is verified.

Regarding Credit card any bank card will do which is accepted worldwide, i have verified using my HSBC Credit Card

 

oops forget to tell even ICICI card works, not used on Paypal but used on other sites

 

Sorry mate but if you withdraw that $2000 paypal are going to freeze your account and do as much as they can to hold it from you. I had a much larger amount and it is still froze in paypal. Good luck though!

 

I got verified my Paypal A/c by using ICICI cc only , it works fine for me. You can also get verified by using VCC(Virtual Credit Card).Check out this thread for details http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=193945 .
Expanded use number is a 4 digit number provided by Paypal when you add CC to your PP account , which gives gives you verified status.
Check will arrive to you within 3 to 4 weeks period.

 

I would recommend a VCC also, they are very handy for international paypal users,

 

what the ? if taht happens, i'm ruined ... is there no way to withdraw 2000$ from paypal ?
i made that thru affiliate programs and sites like rent a coder ... i worked for it ..

Definetly you can have more than $2000 in your account.That will not be any problem.

 

Try to withdraw groups of 500 would be a good idea, but having the money in your account shouldnt be a problem, its just withdrawing it.

 

I withdrawn over $3,000 dollars, if you account is new they may tell you to confirm you address etc.

 

The paypal account name and the CC name and bank account name should match .. LOL .. definitely its safe to withdraw via cheque btw you can even go for small amounts but the max you can withdraw in a month with an unverified account is 500$ .
Expanded program is used to lift the sending limit and increase the withdrawal limit .

 

This is not true. I already mentioned that I am from India. And I know that withdrawing $2000 is not a big deal. Don't worry withdraw it.
