always upgradation is not there are some sites whose rank will decrease also. for there are no changes as I have some new sites and some to get some green in pr bar
No update yet from Google. I did notice that one of my sites finally took over the #1 spot for an important keyword phrase. Although this isn't as important to me as simply doing well, it is nice to see, especially four years after launching the site!
Yet another PR thread . It would be great to see the new Green numbers, but not that the green number matters too much for rankings and traffic . . .
You know, one of the measures of how "good" a company is revolves around how consistent they are. For example ; if my company had a web site with inconsistent page themes, menu layouts (etc) you would not think very highly of my company's web site because we lack consistency. When a product or service fails to keep a fairly consistent level of performance consumer (trust / faith) and desire to use that service degrade. In closing I think it's sucks that google can't replicate it's PR rankings through ALL the datacenters at one time. If PR is important then it should be important for google to make sure every customer see the ACTUAL PR of a web site. This effects me because sometimes I sell links and it undermines my ability to sell PR4 links when MY[/]b] customers are coming back saying "your site is PR0". Also, I worked very hard to get this PR and it sucks to see google report my PR as 0 in error. get your act together google It's really not that hard google - let me give you a little tip. How Google can make their PR stop sucking Create a master PR server which feeds all the other PR servers AT THE SAME TIME. When you update the PR across the servers do it in %5 blocks so not to disrupt your service too much. Problem solved ! Why should 1/2 my visitors think I have PR0 when I actually have PR4 ?
I think the Live PR site is copping a hammering today. Seems like it's the most popular tool to see what the dc's are up to. Col
Already? It seems like just sixteen days ago they updated... but you know, time is so weird. I better buy some links before the change comes. I don't want to stay PR3 like I did last time... man, that was so disappointing.
I think it is more like 3 - 4 months before Google updates the PR, just ask Matt cutts about it. In any case it was prevented to stop something which I am guessing spam links.
