Showing ads for one keyword. Possible?

Is it in anyway possible to show Google Adsense ads for a specific keyword? I have a mini site with 4 pages. On the first page there is not much text, a title and description of the site.

I hooked up the adsense click tracker and realized that there was a huge variety of different ads shown. So I took my description, converted it to javascript and then shoved it into an iframe. Didn't really make much of a difference.

Is it possible to show ads based on one or a few keywords?

It seems Adsense takes the domain name into account when serving ads. Just a thought.

I have a great way of doing it! As long as you don't mind the risk of getting banned.

you can use adsense section targetting to target specific sections of ur page. Additionally u can write ur page in such a way that u avoid the strong keywords which were influencing the ads u dont like.

For eg. in my blog I wrote an article on ajax and web, and titled it :

The new mantra of the new Web. From Digg to Zillow. for :
    http://www.techreply.com/200638/the-new-mantra-of-the-new-web-from-digg-to-zillow/

and I was seeing ads for Mantras ... ( CDs of indian religious chantings ). So I changed the title to : The new secret of success for the new Web. From Digg to Zillow.

I am no more getting those ads.

If you can show ads for a specific keyword everyone on these forums would probably become millionaires.

I have a web page with 3 words on it, which are the same as the 3 words found in my domain name. And when I hook up my click tracker, I see about 50 different advertisers served per day, that's with 120 of them already in my filter.

You don't see them when you are searching google on the top and right side, but you'd be surprised how many advertisers there actually are for content sites. I think even if I had a 1 keyword url, with no text on it, there would still be 500+ advertisers.

    Does anybody have any tricks?
