Directory spam question

    A lot of people are saying their directories are being spam, Most of these directories only allow one url in the whole direcotry. So how are they spamming your directory? I mean only one url is allowed anyway.And second they can't be accpeted in the directory unless you approve them.

    Automatic Robots spams. If image verification is not enabled this could be hard work trying to find in what category it submitted in. Within the admin panel in PHLD 2.1 the admin area gets truncated(sp) which makes it difficult to delete the listing, ie, no delete button or edit button, it get pushed hard-right off the browser. The way I got it to fix was to view the Source from the admin page. From there I am abled to see in which the category it was placed in. I then would either delete the category if there is nothing I can do. This can be hard work as I would have to manually add the listing back.

    When viewing within the PHPmyAdmin it showed nothing of the listings or I did not see it.

    think the key is to have image verification active and charge a small fee :)
