Leading up to christmas, I had massive amounts of traffic! Then shortly during and after christmas day, the plumet came. I expected it! Did anyone else see the same trends as I did! Thanks in advance for the replies!

This whole week traffic is light. Things will pick up next week.

plus if you have Asian visitors they might have stayed away due to the major earthquake that disrupted fiber cables and cut down Internet access for millions of people.

Yup I don't like Christmas ever since I created a website :p Then you start to worry if things will ever pick back up.

Traffic dropped for a few days (regular weekend drop) and then christmas/boxing day drop and yesterday hit it's highest by a few visitors. Today seems to be quite good too so far.

i'm one of those affected by the quake. In fact, I can't log in to internet at all at home. Now i'm outside at work. May be different network, that's why i can log into DP.

Traffic will pick up back after near year, i suppose

You also have to figure in that schools are out and people are off from work

My traffic (non-commercial site) went steadily down from mid-December to Christmas Day. Since then it has surged back to normal levels.

As for my Amazon sites, I've seen it stay about the same... After Christmas shopping seems just as strong as the buying season before Christmas. Go figure.

My sites are still down in traffic. Usually, they start rising back up again after new year.

    Yes.

This is called the holiday season.

Your traffic will be normal after 2nd or 3rd.

    Thanks
