I don't like your tips, someone with common sense could write the same thing, sorry.

 

Good for beginners though. But then, the bottom line is how much you could spend to buy links from high PR pages with the same/similar theme.

That itself beats on-page SEO such as meta tags, keyword density, etc.

You are trying to optimize a page on google-base? The page contains some basic tips that should be common knowledge, but aren't. So good job.

I'll write a little more in-depth one since you guys are all so "expert". I figured most of your were newbies, but now that I see your level of sophistication, I'll step up the game.

BTW, what's wrong with Google Base? It's like a blogging system without all the extra crap. I love it.

waouh, now I've read over your tips and I must say man, who are you to state such things, there is no arguments along with your statements; how can someone trust this!

 

I always make sure I have material I want to promote on my own website - gets me money (through the ads) and it's in my hands wether it stays online or not.
also: I always hesitate to link to generic URL's (geocities, google base etc.), because it seems more likely sites like that will disappear.

 

as to the level on DP: we have a lot of newbies too. Your faq answers questions we see here often.

I write an original 700 word document with tips in it and you guys complain! I was just trying to help some newbies!

Google Base gives you stats too!



You see the "7 impressions". This document has already appeared 7 times in Google search results! Pretty fast, huh?

The document has been viewed already 146 times. Sounds like 1) decent marketing and 2) Good SEO that cost me nothing but the time to write the document.

 

Good basic tips. I say basic but it is usually the basic things that make a big impact. Well done.

I like to pop around to the google webmaster guide for some seo tips - it might not be detailed but u can uncover what areas of SEO they put the most enthesis on. I can only hope that it is reflected in their programming!

If ur in doubt I always stick to logic mainly because googles methods are logic based. Dont try to look too hard for a complicated answer, its likely to be right in front of you.
