E-gold or paypal

I started both accounts recently and compared which should I use for a business. Which is a better choice?

The paypal account needs to be verified, but is troublesome to people without credit cards. E-gold does not need any verification but the rates charged for transaction are confusing and are charged by the type of metals. Also, E-gold does not seem to have anyway to withdraw the money in E-gold to a bank account.

In orger to verify my paypal account I need a credit card which I do not have. I can get a virtual cc like www.mygcard.com but the rates are high and i end up paying quite a lot. I think E-gold would be better but does e-gold have a online merchant paying system? Which is better?

    Go for PAYPAL!
You could buy a VCC here for about $20.Look at the "services" section.

Definately i recommend you for PAYPAL as its widely accepted. E-gold is also good but very few people use it. Other options are also available such as Moneybookers and 2co. BTW from which country you are

I would prefer paypal over e-gold because it's more popular. Paypal is accepted in almost all online stores while e-gold is still quite limited. I have both a paypal account and an e-gold account though.

But how do you withdraw e-gold money earned to a bank account? There seems not to have such a function.

I prefer Paypal. I havent seen anywhere on E-Gold to have your money to put into your account either.

Even though with Paypal your meant to be able to, I tried and they said the account number was wrong and charged me something ridiculous like $35 and it was the correct number. Maybe my bank doesnt accept them.

Paypal offering buyer protection, which is good but for e-gold, sales is final. Usually e-gold is good for gambling related business.

E-Gold is not secure.. Anyone can have it. No jurisdiction govern it. Paypal is much more secure.. U must have a credit card to have a verified account. It based on Anti-MoneyLaundring Scheme.

    Anyway.. I used both.....
