Ok,I have a normal paypal account and have a site thats offering various services. So, it there a way to take recurring payments from my customers or should i upgrqde my account first? I ask, because some script i have used in the past, made custom recurring payments for my customers without me having a Merchant account...

    Thanks for the help.

It's better to have a verified paypal account since start. it's not a good idea to make users unhappy because of the paypal issue.

upgrading your account to Premier/Busines level will enable you to make paypal subscriptions for recurring payments < I guess personal accounts are not allowed for the same > .

By the way, the number (3) represents the number of verified users who have paid you in the past.

Be careful of who you send a subscription payment to. I have fund out the hard way once that the buyer has the "out" with no recourse, except for you removing a link or an article or two.
