Has anyone seen this type of behavior?

    I´m really confused.

    I have the website http://www.vestidodefesta.fot.br/

I had a consistent increase of traffic since the beggining, But last month, exactly nov. 22th my page dissapeared from google SERP.

Not only for one, but for ALL my keywords.

My hits dropped form 1100 a day to 100 a day.

I thought I got Banned, but all my pages where still indexed.

Then, on dez. 6th everything was back to normal.

O noticed that some of the results on the google SERP had changed places, but the result was basicly the same.

I got almost all of my traffic back.

Then, on dez 20th, exactly at 20:00 GMT -3 it happed AGAIN!!!.

My site is nowhere to be seen on the results. Still indexed. Still PR3.

Anyone seen this type of behavior before? Is it a temporarty thing?

    Hope so....

Yes, the same thing is happening to my site. I have been on G's first page for a number of fitness equipment keyphrases. My site has been bouncing in and out of G for a couple of days now. Geeez wonder if G is ready for an update or sometning. I am not worrying. After the smoke clears things will be back to normal.

I´m don´t worry so much because the site is good. Good, unique content.

It´s just that it´s a dress site, and with the new year and all it´s the best time of the year to get traffic.

I´m sure it will get back to it´s feet somehow. Only hope it´s before the search for dresses drops.

But since I have about 10 websites and that´s the only one witch the problem occurrs, i was wondering if could be a google penalty or something.

I have a question thought: How do I know if a page is in the "suplementary results"?

    Not a penalty I think...

Use site:www.yourdomainename.xyz to have the list of the pages and it'll be written where the cache link is for the listing.

I just noticed that my google traffic has almost completely dropped off again. I had recovered a good portion of it a couple weeks ago but at lower levels, this week it has been going down each day and iit is nearly completely gone today. This all started in summer, the past month has been the worst and the most changes.

I was off the SERPs for 2 weeks, but I did a major facelift on the site. My drop was mostly my doing and not so much Google being weird. I've just started getting some Google traffic back.

I wouldn't worry about it too much until the first week of January. Google likes to do a special little dance at the end of the month, so let that dust settle before going nuts.

I have the same. All my google traffic is gone. I dropped for most of my keywords more then 500 places. The weird thing is that i get record adsense revenue even without google traffic. I am not worried i have 180 pages indexed in Google and add fresh content everyday to my site.

Yeah I got one of those too and I freaked out for a second. I saw the supplemental tag and got ready for crisis control. The funny part is that the exact page that was in supplemental, also showed in the regular index with the Site: operator. Apparently the supplemental copy was from before that page was indexed into the regular rotation.

Google makes it very difficult to build any kind of real busines of contextual advertising. It can and does drop most of your traffic from one day to the next, since there's no stablity in its search results you can't hire anyone to work for you, because one month you're cashing in on the fruits of your labor and have extra money to pay to develop the page and the next your just making endsmeat for yourself.

It would be really nice if msn or yahoo could even out internet search share.

I have also had a decline in SERPS which had happened just over 1 month ago and they have not recovered. I have lost most of my traffic from Google because of it and my site is still listed, but nowhere to be seen.

Even though you do hours apon hours of SEO, it is still best to not depend on just search engine traffic as if you do then you will not be on the web for long unless you have over websites.

I lost all my serps in one day on one of my sites, I have no idea why.
I patiently waited 2 months and no change.
I decided to update the content and make some changes in the hopes it would help.
After a week of work, I was just about to publish the new content, but thought Ahh I will check my SERPS one last time first.
Wow I am glad I did, all my phrases were back on top.

Needless to say I didn't publish my new changes.

    Hi Guys

My site is getting back for 2 or 3 keywords now.

Funny thing, one of the pages is in the supplemental results, but it´s in the top 3 for a not so singular keyword.

Hope it get´s back fully before New Years.

Ps: Have anyone noticed that the internet overall STOPED?

My other sites all have dropped 90% of it´s traffic.

I was in PANIC! Thought all my sites where having the same SERP problem, but no.

They are still in he top 10.

People leave the computers alone for the holidays I think.

The problem is that your site has been listed in the supplemental. I have noticed google throwing a lot of sites in there lately.

You meta and title tags look to be all the same. Make them unique and you may get out of it without a problem
