but the first two days have been bad. we were stranded at JFK for 16 hours because we arrived at 11pm, and our hotel only allow check ins before 1130 pm and after 3 pm. and today our friend who's suppsoed to meet us here and be my roommate, is pissed at us because his baggages got delayed at the airport and we weren't in the hotel when he arrived. we rushed back from the empire state building, took a cab and came back. he saw and me and said "let's go." my friend who was with me, extended her hand and introduced herself. my friend (from the airport) walked past her without looking at her and saying a word. hope tommorrow would be better...since we're gonna be roommates for the next 9 days.
sorry it was tough sledding out of the gate! once you get settled I'm sure it'll be lot smoother....that or just drink a lot
Dude you might not believe this but when I saw your topic: I'm in NYC! I had this thought in mind "and you're stranded" and when I came inside it was right in the first sentence! Pretty wierd but oh well. At least you are on the right location as mentioned in your "Location:" part. IT
lol i guess people get stranded all the time eh? really, i'm serious... i can't get enough sightseeing and shopping done because there are so many pretty ones around. lol. i assume they're all tourists though. i had this really weird idea. whenever someone asks me to take a photo for them, i'll cheerfully oblige, take the photo, ask them if the photo is okay, and then when they say yes, put on this poker face and say, "that'll be 20 dollars please." it's so funny seeing their reactions. there's this hispanic family, when they heard me say that, they started speaking to each other in spanish (i assume they were bitching about me ). Another korean family just went speechless and all they could say was, "wh...what?"
