To all Web Designers. What are things that inspires you to continue designing

Lets discuss the thing that's inspires every designer to design and develop a website

 

Mostly it's the artsy side of me and good music and when i feel fuck load inspired

 

paying my bills

 

I look for something I am passionate about and a niche that has a genuine need for a quality site. I like it when I find one of those that can also be a financial asset.

The thing that inspires me is a fast PC.

It makes me inspired and in the mood for work.

To make the internet a more attractive place

 

1) Money, its always about the money
2) when I look at a site and know I can do a better job
3) The fame
4) Women, Women love a man who code Valid Html and Css... and if you can go tableless youll never have a problem getting a girl ( i wish......)

 

If you strike #4 I'd almost think you took the words out of my mouth.. or fingers or whatever
And of course to have something to do, life would be so boring without my sites.

I see a lot of web sites that I think are done poorly (even very large and popular ones) so I try to make better web sites. Also I'm a computer dork so writting html and etc is fun for me.

 

For me it's all about turning a blank canvas into a usable web site. Discovering what the color palette will be, how the navigation works, etc. It's about passion... and paying the bills.

 

self satisfaction .. the urge to make your own website ALL by yourself , the challenges involved .. and finally, the fruit you get out of it

Good mood music (progressive trance for me thank you). I'm just wondering if the trance/techno genre is the preferred sort of music for designers. I wonder.

 

That's pretty much the case for me as well, at least with most projects.

"preferred sort of music for designers"? You must be nuts Preferred sort of music for designers is what they like and enjoy the most. If I had to listen to trance/techno while designing I'd kill myself

 

I usually just start with the material the client gives me - for graphics (I'm not a graphics person) then get the color palet from that. I usually have firm ideas on how to make a site usable, and SEO friendly and go from there. Content is king for me and I often have advice to my client on how to develop content to better fit the web.

Not for me .. I havent started into the webmaster stuff .. but i am planning to be a part of the web soon .. wish me luck
when i start earning at all , then the reason would be $$$$ for me too

 

Money is always good, but just nothing that any skill needs practice and time to develop. I like self-progression so it helps with making myself better
