I just signed up with searchfeed and every single keyword I type in the Max Bid: is 5 cents...and usually it's lycos or nester. Can anyone point me in the right direction for good keywords with this company? I think the highest paying bid I have found has been 12 cents...

Last time I used them, and this was a while ago, some lawyer, casinos, gambling, and investment types of keywords appeared very good. Though I never really made enough to continue working with them. I went back to adsense and YPN.

Searchfeed and 7search and all those 2nd tier ppc are mostly used for arbitrage.
Use them as an advertiser... unless you have lot of visits per day.

i would use generic keywords with searchfeed. they are cheaper and have higher traffic. since they arent a major player your wont get burnt on cost per click.
