I think yahoo is, because yahoo is gets you what you are searching for, google is screwing up WAY too much lately.

Also alot of people have this mistaken deal google is not "really" the "king" of the web.

More humongous sites are using yahoo's api key.
number 1 http://alexa.com/data/details/traffic_details?url=yahoo.com

number 2, as i said alot more people use yahoo's api key myspace was using it for a while. now they switched to google but that doesnt matter. You probaly get alot of traffic from yahoo not even knowing it. Most sites that are referring to your site if it doesnt have a text link or its not rss its most likely search results from there site, using the yahoo api key.

I am using Yahoo. But I use Chacha.com when I'm having trouble searching. They have search guides that really helps a lot.

Google is like AIDS, can't get rid of it no mater how much you're trying. you see it everywhere, in Firefox as default search engine selected in the search box, in the forums, newsletters etc.

I heard news about MSN Yahoo and AOL wanting to unite themselves against Google this year 2007. Only then Google MIGHT have some serious competition.
With MSN's live search, Yahoo's precise results and surplus of traffic from AOL they could bring up a really nice search engine... but this is now enough, only in like 4-5 years they will be able to compete against Google.
