Hello dear fellows, can you please help me here :)?

I'm making this brand new site "www.photo-shop-tutorial.net"

Can you please tell me if i'm violating google tos?, with the images and styles of the ads and the real content?

Thanks in advance and happy holidays

I would have said yes you were ok.

But the check mark by the ad links at the top may be considered an arrow.
If they really wanted to get ya, the arrows over the skyscrapers would be a no no as well.

Yeah i have red this before too, but i just see everyday a LOT of sites with images on them, i'm really lost here, images are GREAT for adsense.

Is this on the TOS already? or just on google's blog?, and is that oficial?

    Yeah cheers :)!

    I was just wondering...

They might be against Images beside Adsense ads, but I wonder if it is considered the same if the background contains images embedded into them.

    Just a thought...;)

    Cheers!!

Thanks, i'm going to think about it, but i do beliece "recent tutorials" is good there.

The images thing is a whole discussion i'm thinking and thinkin about it, cause this insn't my first site, so i would have to take them out of all.

    Thanks for the time.

Yeah i have the same thought, or maybe put them like a div bg, that would make a diference?

i think think background or div is not solution to this problem. who ever had this idea that having images next to ads will draw more clicks? it won't.

are you implying the ads are recent tutorials? you can't tell people want the ads are. wish you could, but it's against policy.

I have tested it, it works.
Or maybe is just my particular case, but for me it works very very nice.

after testing it, what was the CTR difference? perhaps it was just because having images (anywhere on the site) made it look more trustworthy?

I can't find any contents on your sub-pages, you should have some content on the pages and also amazed your domain name photo-shop-tutorials.net, it seems tutorials about photos and shops :) you should done it like this photoshop-tutorials.net or something else like that...

on behalf of images next to ads.. there are lots uncleared about this issue, so better mail to google with your url and they will check it reply you, whether it is ok or not..

That is true you do need to add some content, there is a lot of information and non-copyrighted tutorials available that you could review and utilize.

Here's the official post from Google

    adsense.blogspot.com/2006/12/ad-and-image-placement-policy.html

I'd say your site is not OK.

Yes that's true but the site is under construction right now, and i'm adding the content right now.

The domain part, a webmaster friend of mine, used to have a photoshop-something.com domain, and well, adobe sent a mail to him saying that he had violated copyright terms using the photoshop trademark on the domain.

    So i splitted the word.

    That is something.
