What If I want to just put my own text link in their or if I want to add my banner? Is it the same way?
Everyone and their sisters dog walker runs an arcade or proxy site. Is there a lot of traffic, yes. Is it long term, not in my opinion. Celebrity Sites also work, if you are in it for the short term and easy buck.

When i first opened, it was mainly targeted for schools, so it was MSN + word of mouth. 1 Month in, and almost every school in the UK knew about it. After, I got hit by a random surge of traffic into the millions, because some foreign proxy site added me to their blog. But, I haven't paid for anything.
when do u start making your second proxy site? when u are averaging how much per day from your first proxy site?
You want to generally add domains when ever you can, and expand. Then let the proxy mature, and get your reward.

Virpus.com is good for a server. YOu can try http://www.proxyguide.org to show you how to setup a proxy. Also If want my banner to show on the webpage instead of the address bar is there a way to do that as well?
If you guys don't mind me asking... How long time did it take for you guys to start earning some $$$ from that you started with a proxy site? I'm very new to this and it sounds good imo, but still trying to read a lot about it so that's why I am asking.
