So, with all this talk about ringtones and how well they pay, I am also seeing several people critiquing the newcomers for trying to jump on the ringtones wagon. So, simple question, what is another good niche to target, that's not as saturated. I mean, if this is some kind of a secret, I can understand, but it's worth asking I assume. Happy holidays!
Ringtones was at its peak about 6-8 months ago and died off fast in q4 of 2006. There is still money to be made in that niche but the margins are a lot tighter right now. The next thing? I really do not know if you will get anyone to spill the beans because the market will be flooded and the niche will no longer be profitable. It is likely that you will just read about it many months after its over =(. The best advice is just test Right now the hottest things are commercial goods... ie targeted for christmas. I hope you dont jump on that bandwagon now unless you are ramping up for next year.
There are hundreds of offers on Azoogle alone. Just jump in with something you feel comfortable with, and start testing. It's a ton of work, but you may hit on something that almost no one else is promoting and turns out to be a huge money maker. Then you will guard it with your life Like Shoe said, you won't hear about the next craze until it dries up.
This is great advice. Just get out there and try and you will find things that work and convert for you and make more for you than anything else could.
Great advice. I also highly support those that keep their mouths shut. The more you say the more people flock and the less you have to work with.
Understandable. Thanks a lot for the kind advice. Rest is all up to me, you guys pumped some motivation in me. Any more suggestions would be appreciated.
see what other people are promoting as there is a reason things are converting for other people so see whats hot on different networks see if you can get them to work for you.
There has to be an industry publication or insider marketing tool out there can possible get a feel for the next niche to hit the market. The actual question you have to ask yourself is where can I get this info and how much will it cost me?
You cant really buy it. You cant put a price on info like that lol.. Just read tons of different forums. Abestweb is a really good affiliate forum. I have found some gems there. Everytime azoogle has a new product I will test it and see how it does. It may not last long. cj.com has over 5k programs and ads like 5 every day. I try to test as many as I can then when I find something that hits I hammer it.
How do you going about setting up landing pages for this amount of testing....do you have a template...are you setting up single page sales letter type page.....multiple page landing pages..... Just interested on how you do this.
I don’t know what the next big thing will be, which I did though. There’s so much information on the internet nowadays that deciphering it all can be a very strenuous task. I guess you must keep your eyes open and jump at the opportunity. The web is becoming a very crowded place and making money online is only going to become harder.
guys, i'm so interested to test out this affiliate thingy. I wonder if there is an affiliate that offers template ready kind of service. OR those from azoogle onlys provide the link with aff. Id? and we suppose to build our landing page ourselve?
And before that are New Year resolutions -- weight loss, quitting smoking, etc. When Todd was on your radio show, I posted in his blog a question related to that but I don't think it was asked during the show... Basically, I was wondering how you decide when to pull the plug on an affiliate program you're testing and give up on it? Gut feeling? Standard cut-offs for ROI after a certain period of time? something else?
