Hello, I am selling pizzahut.info.

I just received this domain name from the drop and I am selling it because I would like to flip it for some christmas money.

PizzaHut.info is the name of a huge pizza franchise this domain name can recieve a ton of traffic!

It really depends on the company. Some go after the domains, while some others seem to let them be. Pizza Hut apparently is one of those companies that want the domain and will go after it.

I sent a PM to the seller with this info, suggesting that he remove his listing. I guess he went offline. Once I saw a reply to the sales thread, I thought it was best to just post info here for potential DP buyers to make an informed decision.

I own some domains with trademarks in them, so that in and of itself is not a deal breaker for me. But when a company will certainly come and take it, that is a different story.

Ouch, Looks like PizzaHut is going after its domains, I doubt the old owner let it drop by accident, he probably got a UDRP notice from Pizza Hut and thought it better to let it drop then fight for it.

 

Pizza Hut is one of the agressive ones in defending the trademark.

 

I havent had any problems yet. The domain name is not parked so no traffic stats yet. I need money for a gidt so a good offer can with this name and it could have good traffic.

pizza hut is a registered trade mark.. site won't make anything. and if it does make money your have to pay pizza hut, due to you making money only because you use there name.

How about selling the domain to Pizza Hut? Their pockets are deeper than anyone on this forum. Maybe they will give a nice price for it.

 

Doubt it they aggressivly go after the names for the principle, they would rather go through WIPO and pay more then pay DNProfile.com because it sends out the image that Pizza Hut will pay people for registering the names.

 

Make the site about hamburgers and youll be fine.

Buy it now for $150.00 tommorow only. This domain can possible be makin like $100/day it coulda be your lucky chance I still havent parked it.

 

I doubt it will make $100/day or even $1/day for that matter on parking, it has no alexa ranking, or links, and the last site that was ever online on the domain was back in 2004 when it was redirecting to an adult site.
