Starting a LLC or Corporation in US - Help Needed

We are based in India and plan to start a company in USA. What will be the best way to do it ?

P.S. We have no contacts in USA and do not even want to get help from any contacts which are there.

We may be interested in some partnership with US resident.

I have tried to find on internet regarding the LLC or Corporation formation laws and methods, but at times the ground story is different than what is potrayed online.

I found one website offering a registraion in delaware for $ 299. (http://www.thedelawarecompany.com/)

Please suggest if you know anything in this regard. We can even consult some lawyer later, but want to ask the forum members first.

I would advise you to contact an attorney here in the USA to draw up the necessary paperwork to form your corporation or LLC.

Be aware that you will need to file an annual federal tax return and also an annual state tax return for whichever state the corporation is registered in. Delaware and Nevada are probably the best states to register your company in since there are no state franchise / income taxes (if I recall correctly).

Since you are based outside of the US, I am not sure of the necessary documentations that are needed for the officers and/or directors of the corporation.

As I said, contact a US based attorney and you may also want to contact a US based Certified Public Accountant to file your annual tax returns.
