New Windows Or Parent Window?

    On banners and such on your sites you guys prefer your links to open in a new window or open in the parent window?

    Are there any studies or stats that show which one is best?

    i prefer in a new window, that way its easy for them to stay on your site and click more.

    I completely agree with that, along with the fact that there is a possibility that if the other website cathes the users attention your website may just be forgotten...

    A new one! It is very convenient. Even if you're distracted and move to a different site, the old window is still open. This is especially true for those who like constantly looking for something on the sites on which there are a lot of banners of ads.
