It's Christmas day here and still getting quite a lot of traffic as per normal. I even got a $1.14 click just now. I gather there's a lot of kids getting pc's and laptops as presents. LOL Col
Yes, I find some holidays bring about slower adsense days. This is to be expected. There was a time when adsense represented a large amount of my online earnings, and I can remember being frustrated.
My traffic always goes down on weekends, but picks up again on Mondays. I hope it's the same this Monday(25th) too.
I have noticed a decrease in my earnings but I can also see the decrease in impressions which is due to end of year celebrations so I am not too worried. Most of my $20/day websites have dropped to $10-$15 nothing too significant.
When I woke up today, I found my traffic was DOWN up to 80-90% across the sites. I get about 75% of the visitors from the US. I was shocked! I thought maybe the SERPS were playing up, but, in fact, they are as they are. I am epecting to see no more than 15% of last Monday's earnings. Does anyone know from experience of last year or the years before when things pick up again? EDIT: Actually, it appears my sites have been down for the last 10 hours or so. I guess I was right to be shocked when I saw those stats. Does anyone know if webhost companies are open today? I need to sort this out as soon as possible.
Things ain't looking good for my sites too.Guess it's just a temporary thing. Hope things will pick after the holiday seasons. Sigh...
It's normal. Less people work during the holidays. Many are on vaction from work, where a lot of web browsing takes place. It will be a couple of weeks before things stabalize.
