What is paypal's policy on multiple paypal account ?

Ok, Since I was not having CC(though I have applied for it but its taking time) so I had to made multiple paypal accounts but now paypal has blocked all my 4 id's among which one of them is my main account through which I receive all the money.

Now I know I was violating the TOS but I had no intentions to misuse it and I was anyway going to CC certified it. I am almost loosing $1200 now($700 in my main account,$100-$150 in others). Now being on the guilty side, I am OK in loosing few hundred dollars but it's just not possible to loose more than that for me financially. Can I request paypal to merge atleast two of my accounts ? or may be close my all other accounts, pay me for that and I will be only using one ID with CC certifiation ?

Any help, suggestions will be highly appreciated.
    Regards

Does Paypal block you only due to violate their ToS, or is at least one of these accounts involved into "irregular" transactions?
Does Paypal have asked you to provide proper identification from yourself?
If Paypal decide to close all your accounts, than I see no chance to recieve any cent, since Paypal will relate one blocked account to all others which ones are registerd to your name.
Paypal will never merge 2 accounts, that request is only a waste of time, no need to ask them about this.
Paypal will close that accounts and they will never refund you a cent, that is what you have agreed by signing up to use their "so called" services what are only nightmares, there are a lot of anti-Paypal forums with a lot of such horror stories, but at least you must be very carefull when using Paypal.
    I hope that helps.
Thank you, see you soon. :D

Paypal can limit your account for
even if it was done unintentionally. Because other people have been to open multiple accounts on purpose so unfortunately you cannot say it was a mistake.

I would consider calling them / emailing them to see what can be done. Paypal has millions of users and unfortunately a lot of those users violate the TOS and then complain when Paypal closes their account. Or it is Paypal's fault because it is not available anywhere.

Paypal has a negative rap but if you try to fix your problem before they find out - it might be in your best interest

You can have a company and personal account, you need to incorporate your self or a company.

When you signed up, you would have been provided with the ability to view the TOS and AUP which you are bounded to. Typically, you can only sign up for 1 Personal Account + 1 Business/Premier Account. Having more would put yourself at risk of having the accounts terminated.

There is nothing much you can do about it. I guess you can write to Paypal and plead for leniency and probably to terminate the lower balance accounts. Do not bitch anything about it and just be apologetic about it as you know you are in the wrong. Just accept whatever their judgement is and move on. Take that as a lesson.

I am surely taking this as a lesson. Life is just amazing. I was using those ID's for the past one year, nothing happened. When I was about to get my CC in few days and close all the other accounts, they just blocked all of them :) [May be because I was bluntly using same name and address in all of them, had never realized that such thing can also happen]

Anyway I am going to send them a detailed mail and ask them for leniency. Even if I could get two of my id's, I will satisfied with it.

I am sure that they will not apply on your desires here, they will leave them blocked for lifetime.
    I suggest you this:
Open another one ( not in your name, in a name of a family member ) from a different IP ( use only that IP when accessing it, not from multiple IPs, even when they are based in the same county ), with a different street adress ( a maildrop works good ), a different bank account number ( no problem if you live in USA, there are a lot of online banks ), with a different card number ( since there a lot of prepaid credit card offers in USA ) and take care about how many money you are moving thru them for the fist time, Paypal haves a detection software and this one will put a red flag on high amounts.
Thank you, see you soon. :D

it's kinda difficult to fool around with paypal(I don't want to risk loosing any more money). I can get atleast $750 back from them keeping things strait, but ya to be honestly speaking, I too have very little hope that they will bother to reply. In life, sometimes you learn things hard way. :)

I think the problem was that you used same name and same address for all your paypal accounts

According to paypal you can have one personal account and one business (premier account)

and if you are having more than this paypal will ban you

the only way to get out of this is to register paypal accounts with your fathers mothers name and get the checked withdrawn in their favour

Also you can open in your firends account and withdraw them also you can look for alternative options such as Xoom

If your client has a long standing relationship with you you cna instruct your client to open account in xoom and send the moeny directly to you

ya I guess I will have to go with XOOM now. Unfortunately since my accounts are freezed so I can not close them neither withdraw any money.

By the way, ppl have told me that I can get direct money into my bank account through XOOM. I hope this is not bank wire transfer. If it is not than I may ask them to send the money in this way. Any comments or things which I need to take care of ?

This is how things happen in life, mate :) I am not worried about loosing money as much as I am worried about the time that is being lost in this whole process. I am not able to send or recieve anything. I have fax the info to them but it's still gonna take time.
