Not as long as you, but 14 years feels like a long time to me. I practically grew old on this forum, lol. Are you still actively posting?

2004 - Shawn had been active on another forum that got sold and turned overnight from a quality seo forum into an advertising nightmare. On dialup or adsl it was unusable. He started dp and the rest is history.

2006 -- had an eBay store, an Amazon store, and an ecommerce site selling IT supplies and a friend recommended DP.

2008 is serious dedication! I'm pretty new here, but I've already learned a ton from digging through old threads. Always cool to see OG members still active.

I'm new here, can anyone teach me how to post new thread here?
I'd really appreciate if you can send me DM.

@Hibernus Find the discussion forum that suits your topic and click "post new thread".

If it's the Buy/Sell/Trade that you want you need to wait until you're established or pay for an upgrade.

I registered in February of 2007.

Did this forum have issues with bots? I noticed beyond3d.com had a similar problem, forcing users to now sign in.

Did? It did and it does and it always will do. I don't check https://forums.digitalpoint.com/spy/ very often but when you do the list of new users is... amusing.

Behind the scenes they're super sloppy, they'll usually never post so i don't know why they bother. We have good auto-mod tools so only a few get through. The most successful are the humans who get paid to post, but they're also sloppy and either make the company look bad for get banned quickly.

There are so many ways to prevent bot signups, why hide the entire forum?

Not my problem, I'm not involved in any of that.
