For SEO and website projects, owning many domains can create options. But one strong domain may be easier to build, sell, or remember. Would you rather hold one premium domain or 100 average domains? Which gives better long-term value?
Not sure what you mean by "premium" or "average", but having the right keyword in your domain name helps tremendously, even in 2026. If your business sells shirts, having "shirt" in your domain name will always beat a nifty but obscure one.
Thank you sir, I get what you mean. A keyword in the name can save a lot of explaining. The only problem is when it sounds too much like an SEO page and not enough like a real business. By the way, did you notice DigitalPoint being down a few days ago? I couldn't open it for a while.
Yes, it was. Interestingly, Facebook was down for some time as well, though not for as long. They could be connected, maybe an attack on Cloudflare or something similar or it could just be a complete coincidence.
Ah, thanks for the info. I was starting to wonder if something weird was going on with DigitalPoint. Good to know it was not just on my side.
