I gave Sovrn.com months of my work, waiting patiently through their long Net90 window. When payout day finally came, they stabbed me in the back – closed my account with no warning and kept every cent. Their support team is non-existent; they simply stop replying and pretend you don't exist. This company operates like a scam, taking ad revenue from your content and pocketing it for themselves. I feel completely robbed and cheated. If you value your time and your earnings, run far away from Sovrn.
I’m sorry you had to go through that. Waiting 90 days for a payout already requires a lot of trust, especially when you’re putting in months of work and sending real traffic and revenue their way. The worst part in situations like this isn’t even just the money — it’s the lack of communication. When a company closes an account or holds earnings, the least they can do is provide a clear explanation and give the publisher a chance to understand what happened. I’ve seen similar complaints from publishers in the ad industry where the biggest frustration is not getting a straight answer from support. A platform can have policies and terms, but silently disappearing after someone has spent months building content and generating revenue is a terrible way to handle business. Hopefully you’re able to get some kind of response from them or recover at least part of what you’re owed. It’s definitely a reminder for other publishers not to rely on a single monetization platform and to keep records of traffic, earnings, and communication just in case something like this happens.
i'd give support a chance to explain exactly why the payment was held first. payment issues and an actual refusal to pay aren't always the same thing.
