I have a bunch of sites that I created. n some I used AI content here and there. In others, I wrote all the content myself. I find my sites not indexing, apparently because I am missing something on the Bing webmaster guidelines. Any tips?
Weirdly, My sites are indexing pretty well on google, although Im not getting traffic.
The sites are https://myessaysolution.com/ and https://nursewriting.com/

    Try these things:
    • Bing content submission API
    • Bing URL submission tool
    • make sure you server has bandwidth to welcome both Google and Bing bots
    • provide helpful content
    • submit multi and sub sitemaps
    • resolve speed and performance issues
    • keep a logical and interconnected sitemap within your website

I wouldn't spend any time focusing on Bing as it's not worth the time. Follow the 80/20 rule.

Bing only accounts for 1.02% of my total traffic, yahoo 0.47%, duckduckgo 0.47% and Google is 46.50%.

The best way engines like Yahoo and Bing to index your sites is to submit aitemap.xml file to their webmaster tools. A sitemap is a roadmap of all the pages on your website that can quickly discover and index content. You should also optimize your on-page SEO by including relevant keywords, page titles, and headings, and be sure to link internal pages together to allow search to the entire site. Monitor indexing in the webmaster tools to see which pages have been indexed. Engage with social media and link building to drive organic traffic and help search engines discover fresh pages.

Just login to Bing Webmasters Tool and submit your website. Don't forget to read the policy guidelines and optimize your website accordingly.

Yahoo: I never used Yahoo for indexing my website so I don't have much idea about this.

If your sites aren’t indexing on Bing but are fine on Google, it could be due to Bing’s stricter content quality checks. Here are a few things to check:

    1. Ensure Crawlability – Check robots.txt and meta tags (noindex could be blocking Bing).
    2. Submit URLs Manually – Use Bing Webmaster Tools to submit your URLs and request indexing.
    3. Improve Content Quality – Bing is more sensitive to AI-generated content, so ensure it's well-edited, unique, and not overly generic.
    4. Check Backlinks – Bing relies more on backlinks than Google. Try building quality inbound links.
    5. Fix Technical SEO Issues – Use Bing Webmaster Tools to check for errors in your Sitemap, Core Web Vitals, and Structured Data.
    6. Engagement Matters – Bing prioritizes user engagement (e.g., dwell time, click-through rate), so enhance readability and internal linking.
Since you’re not getting Google traffic despite indexing, focus on keyword optimization and content intent to rank better.

i’ve seen similar cases where Google indexes fine but Bing is slower or more selective
Usually it comes down to basics: making sure pages are actually discoverable (internal links, sitemap submitted in Bing Webmaster Tools), no accidental “noindex”, and that the content looks trustworthy/complete rather than thin or repetitive. Bing tends to be a bit stricter with newer sites, so sometimes it’s just time + a few external signals (mentions/links) before things start moving

Have you submitted a sitemap.xml through Bing Webmaster Tools? That's usually the first step — submit it and check if there are any errors or warnings in the dashboard.

Funny enough, my experience is the opposite of yours. I submitted my sitemap to Bing and it indexed everything within a day — even Copilot is picking up my content for AI summaries. Meanwhile Google is barely moving despite multiple sitemap resubmissions and manual indexing requests. Go figure.

For Bing specifically, make sure your robots.txt isn't blocking anything and that you've verified site ownership properly. Bing tends to be more responsive once you set up Webmaster Tools correctly.

Yeah, I’ve had a similar experience. Bing can be really fast sometimes, especially after adding the sitemap and verifying the site, but it can also be inconsistent.

One thing I noticed is that submitting the sitemap is only the first step. Bing may crawl the pages, but if the site is new or the pages don’t have much internal linking, some URLs can still sit there without getting indexed.

I’d also check the Index Explorer in Bing Webmaster Tools. It’s pretty useful for seeing whether Bing actually found the pages or if there’s some reason they’re being ignored.

The Google vs Bing situation is funny though. I’ve had cases where Bing indexed pages in a couple of days while Google took weeks, and then other times it was the complete opposite. Seems like both engines have their own idea of what they trust.

Apart from the technical stuff, a few decent backlinks and making sure the content isn’t just thin pages usually helps move things along.

Before submitting again and again, please check the boring technical side first. Make sure the domain has one clean version, either www or non-www, and http redirects properly to https.

Also check that Bingbot is not getting blocked by a firewall, bad robots rule, or strange server response.

I’d check Bing Webmaster Tools for crawl errors and make sure your sitemap is submitted correctly. If everything is fine, work on internal links and improving the content before submitting the same URLs again.

Yeap totally agree, the first step would be to check Bing webmaster tools and after that if everything is fine, I'd focus on better content creation and better internal linking.

Open Bing Webmaster Tools. Add your sitemap. Check Index Explorer to see what Bing found versus what it shows.

Internal links count for a lot on Bing. More than on Google.

Good news: once Bing trusts your pages, they show up in days, not weeks.
