Hey everyone, I'm Ekin, 43 years old, and I've had quite a ride in the tech world so far. I spent 5 years managing R&D, worked at NATO, and built my career as a network and software architect before stepping into a CTO role at an electronic money institution. I know fintech from the inside out, including the pressure, the compliance nightmares, and the 3 AM incidents. On paper, I'm a Mathematics Sciences graduate from Moscow State University. Off paper, I trained in MMA for 14 years and I'm a massive heavy metal fan. I am equally comfortable debugging a distributed system on a FreeBSD server at midnight and surviving a mosh pit on a Friday night. I recently left my full-time gig and went freelance. Here is what I am working on and my core technical background: I build and sell industry-specific PHP scripts, fintech solutions, and ready-to-use SDKs. I offer consulting for CTO as a Service, security, CI/CD pipelines, Docker/Kubernetes, microservices, and distributed systems. I develop backend applications heavily using Java, .NET, and C. I manage standard and heavily customized PostgreSQL databases, which I have been doing for 15 years. I architect and build complex networks across FreeBSD, Red Hat, and Ubuntu Server environments. I joined DigitalPoint to connect with real people, share what I know, and hopefully learn a thing or two as well. If you're into backend architecture, complex infra, fintech, databases, or just good heavy metal, let's talk. Cheers
Nice to meet you, Ekin. And the mix of MMA and metal on top of that is seriously impressive, respect. Glad you joined. Looking forward to your posts.
