    Hi everyone,
I would like to start a general discussion and get some opinions from people with experience in data driven marketing.
Let’s assume you have access to a large and up to date Instagram data set built only from public profiles.
This data may include information such as usernames follower and following metrics and in some cases publicly available contact details like email addresses or phone numbers.
From a long term and sustainable perspective, how would you personally use this kind of Instagram data?
Some possible ideas that come to mind are
    audience and niche research
    market and competitor analysis
    influencer discovery and outreach planning
building marketing insights or analytics reports
creating tools or services for brands and agencies
I am mainly interested in strategic and practical use cases, not quick flips.
If you were in this position
would you focus on building a product
    offering a service
or turning the data into insights and reports
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and experiences

I would game IGs algo, create multiple AI female models profiles and profit from advertising big fashion brands like Gucci etc which as far as I know pay premium prices in order to be advertised on IG.

I’d probably start with influencer discovery and competitor research, then sell the insights as a service before building a full product. You’ll learn pretty quickly what clients actually value. For handling separate client workflows, an antidetect browser with isolated profiles can also make the browser side easier to manage.

I’d go with insights rather than trying to sell the dataset itself. Raw follower counts and contact lists are easy enough to collect these days; the real value is in turning that data into something actionable. For example, spotting audience shifts, finding creators with genuine engagement, comparing competitors, or identifying niches before they get crowded. I’d probably start with a reporting/analytics service, see what clients actually use, and only then build a full product around the patterns that keep coming up

i think audience research and influencer discovery would be a good place to start. brands could use this data to find creators in their niche and understand their audience better. i would probably start with a service or simple reports to see what businesses actually need before investing in a full product. it is also important to respect privacy and use the data responsibly, especially when it comes to contact details.

I may start with a focused research service for one industry.

Tracking smaller creators whose follower counts are growing consistently over several weeks may be useful. Brands often pay attention to the biggest accounts, but emerging creators could offer interesting collaboration opportunities.
