My wife knows of my love of chocolate and marshmallows, so when she saw the item below at a local store two days ago, she picked up a few:

They are excellent! Better than other chocolate covered marshmallow confections I have had. Highly recommended!

Weird Al is a regular follower of this thread and I did see him on Instagram wearing your superior Julia Child Memorial Model tinfoil hat. Unfortunately said hat has not yet made him less paranoid and prone to conspiracy theories. He is that way in spite of him purchasing your Jesse Ventura Anti Deep State Model hat. But at least he is enjoying the fine food highlighted in this thread.

You have to be careful with powerful equipment like these tinfoil hats. You can't just mix and match. Some hats are contraindicated when you are wearing certain categories of tinfoil hat to treat certain conditions. That doesn't mean that you shouldn't buy or lease all of them, it just means that you need to be cognizant of the laws of physics when combining them. And don't get me started on the guy who bought the Anti-Government Brainwave Protector Hat and then proceeded to wear it with the Deluxe Mindreading and Telepathy Hat. He wanted to sue us for his hair being burnt completely off. Fortunately, our ironclad warranty protects us from such charlatans.

Bernie Sandars tends to mix and match, could explain his eccentric behavior as of late.

Back to topic, I had a great Greek salad today with Spanish onions, black olives, yellow and red bell peppers and green peppers, cheery tomatos too, all smothered in olive oil with feta cheese on top. For topping I added a blue cheese dressing.:)

Nice salad. And I love bleu cheese dressing on any salad. I also think that a balsamic vinaigrette might be excellent with it.

Thanksgiving is next week in the U.S., and it is one of my favorite holidays. No gifts or other activities (except. perhaps the local high school football game or parade) and mostly centered around a good meal. I thought that it might be interesting for people to ring in on their favorite Thanksgiving foods, desserts, etc. For me, the list is as follows:

    Turkey (dark meat)
    Stuffing/Dressing (sausage/garlic/cornbread)
    Squash (flavored with pie seasonings)
    Pie (pumpkin or coconut cream)

I do not need anything else like mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce or anything else.

    What are your favorites?

Looks perfect! I'd definitely enjoy everything you've listed there, however, turkey meat is not my first choice. Sometimes we make both, turkey and steak, guess who is eating the steak?

The only other meat I have seen served at Thanksgiving would be a ham. Steak is always good, of course. I have heard of things like Turducken, which I believe is a duck inside a goose inside a turkey- all roasted simultaneously in the oven. Kind of a fowl-palooza, but I have never had it.

I did omit one item from my above list: gravy. It is essential on the turkey and stuffing.

Wasn't it the great John Madden who always raved about turducken? My wife sometimes makes pasta salad along with mashed potatoes, too. Are you a fan of potato or pasta salads?

I also need to mention that, for the first time in years, we stumbled across the giant Reeses peanut butter cups again! These half pound wonders are simply the best of Reese's products. It is mostly because the chocolate walls needed to support the structure are quite thick and stand up to the peanut butter filling. We take one out and cut it into quarters like slicing a pie.

Delicious and a great treat for the holidays.

Not sure, but a lot of the cooking shows mention turducken. I like pasta salads a lot. I am not a big fan of potatoes, in general, so I will eat potato salad but it is not high on my list. I wouldn't mind a nice pasta salad as a side for Thanksgiving.

While I was replying to @qwikad.com and mentioning my ambivalence with potatoes, it reminded me of a new find we have discovered a few months ago. Note that I usually pass on potatoes as a side, be they mashed, baked, French fried, whatever. E.g., go to a fast food joint and I will always just get the burger and pass on the fries. Given the choice, I will choose pasta or rice as my starch, instead of potatoes. And, I have little regard for frozen French fries. That is why the product below was such as surprise. Who woulda thunk that zucchini shoestring fries would be so good, but they are! They have become one of my favorite sides with meals.

They are not easy to find but worth a try, for sure!

    My daughter loves them!

P.S. Seriously, with all the Reese’s you guys are eating, how does nobody have diabetes yet?

My wife, daughter and son all have diabetes. It runs on her side of the family. Most of her siblings have diabetes, her mother did, etc. I am the one with the sweet tooth, horrible eating habits, etc., but no diabetes.

You should never have discontinued your Willpower Model tinfoil hat. I know...I know. (the big lawsuit) But it helped so many...I sold mine for a fortune much to my regret. You would not believe what those old hard to find models are selling for on Ebay. If only your diabetic relatives/family had those now!

I purchased your Gorden Ramsey Cooking Model tinfoil hat and my spaghetti Bolognese is now perfect. But your Jeffrey Epstein Dating Model hat went straight into the trashcan.

I appreciate your business over the years. You have been a great and loyal customer. There are very few clients like you who understand the importance of adding the Deluxe earmuffs to those models that offer that enhancement. But, I do need to remind you that my tinfoil hats also work perfectly for making baked potatoes, as a fallback use, instead of tossing them away.

I've eaten a lot of deviled eggs in my day. My wife's are hands-down the best (creamy, tangy, just the right amount of everything). When I see weird ingredients mixed in or bacon bits on top - I'm out. Just give me her classic recipe every time.

I like deviled eggs, as well. Had not had them for a long time and then went to a niece's wedding this summer and one of the hors d-oeuvres was deviled eggs. Really enjoyed them. Like you, I think that I prefer the classic version.

Call me paranoid, call me a religious nut, call me what you will. But whenever I eat deviled eggs I always wear your Franklin Graham Anti Demon Model tinfoil hat. It works 100% as I've yet to be possessed.
