@rlbartlett that design you choose is actually my design. That is clearly my design. @Papalogo copy my design and he post it as his own. Please see carefully my design post #17. He just removed the mining rig above the text of my design. https://forums.digitalpoint.com/threads/logo-design-contest-50.2884092/#post-19778792 You even give me positive feedback here https://forums.digitalpoint.com/threads/logo-design-contest-50.2884092/#post-19778793
A design choosen by contest holder is my design. You copy my design and post it as your own design and removing the mining rig above the text. I already sent a PM to contest holder firstly about this. How can you be so confident and shameless when your design is clearly a copy of mine.
It sounds laughable when you say I copied your designed work. How can a copied work won a contest over original? If there is closeness in your work and mine; fine, but is not enough for you to say I copied your work. I designed what I felt the contest holder wants, that's all. @BagusDesign, there could be a bit of resemblance in your designed work and mine, because we are all working based on descriptions and feedbacks. Your design and mine are not the same, neither did I copy you. I strictly followed the contest holder's designed descriptions/feedbacks, Sorry, for what you have tagged "copied"; do take time to compare my work and yours, you'll see the striking differences. Let's learn to be mature here, Thanks
After seeing both logo designs, it’s quite obvious that they look almost identical. It really seems that one design was copied or strongly inspired by the other. To keep things fair and avoid further conflict, I think it would be best if the winning prize is shared between the two designers. That way, both can get some recognition and we can all move on with fairness and respect.
Let's call a spade, a spade... content holder knows what he wanted, he has observing eyes, and sense of judgement. He gave his descriptions. Moreso, he fed us back in the cause of the contest. At the end, he made a choice. Unless if it was initially stated, that two contestants can emerge winners, but if not, let's not sow seeds of discord here. A winner was chosen based on what contest holder needed; so why aiding and abating confusion?
@BagusDesign, Did you read this? Contest holder instructed you to even make a reference to my own logo submission in other to better yours, you couldn't do it. Now you are bittered I was able to come up with what he wanted. Did you notice that my design is more of 3D tech-wise compared to yours? Did you know the difference between working smart and copycat? Buddy, stop these hate statements of yours, which you are using to solicit for sympathy. I don't have your time please. You'd better learn!
If you (@Papalogo) say that, why in other contests do you protest other participants copying your design, even though the design is completely different? In my opinion, in this case, @Papalogo's design is not only identical, but it's clearly copied and made very minor modifications.
If you hear me protests in the time past, perhaps it was just a way of reprimanding the reference maker from my work, that i've noticed what he did, and that ends it. I do not make any more fuss, once my point is established.
Whatever you say, I will also reprimand you if in the future you do the same thing with my design, like what @BagusDesign experienced with you this time.
I wonder why a "copied" work now becomes more original than the referenced work? I'm asking you sympathizers...? Any clue please? What is the difference between referencing and copying? Had any other designer won this contest other than me, would there be this verbal assaults?
If you can't see clear cut distinctions and why contest holder chose mine instead of his, then rest... stop this undue sympathy. We may be doing similar thing's here, but smart innovation's here and there, brings out the pro, in someone. Take any of my designs and once you bring in innovation into it, good! Carry-on, you're a genius. @getdomain4u, leave this logic and mind your business.
