Google clarifies "recommending" referrals !

I looked around and didnt see this posted anywhere - if I missed it, i'm sorry.

Since a large percentage of my earnings used to come from referrals (I still earn a lot from referrals, but not as large of a percentage) I've often made posts as the "referrals expert" - And I've also made many posts stating that Adsense Referral buttons are to be treated the same as Adsense for Content - meaning you cant say "Click here to download Firefox"...

    Well guess what!?

Now you CAN SAY CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD FIREFOX (or other) REFERRALS!
You can see Google's post about it here:
    https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=43870&topic=8972

I also verified this via phone today with my Google "contact"..

This is great for publishers - the simple act of being allowed to put the "click here" should increase Referrals quite a bit.

Speaking of referrals, anyone see the new Adsense Case studies? I heard a rumor that a DP Member was one of the new features.

Wow its hard to believe !! Google don't care much about common sense when its something about their TOS. maybe FF guys and Google must have thought get more downloads whatever the way.
