Hi, All of SEO professional there, could you tell me what is happen with google now days some time it show our website in top ten results and after two days it will be in 125 or 225 position. Some update is going on or some thing else. Jim
Yeah, we seen an update that has affected some terms. Most of our sites actually went up a few spots in the top 20 however we had one site that was in the top15 drop out of the serps for the term to more than 200. We see for some terms some really bad changes (for the search user). Title tags and backlinks so far for that term have been meaningless as most of top 50 sites aren't even relevant now after the change.
same for me, i get an update for my expected PR, before it was zero(unknown) since i launch my site, I am waiting for a backlink update from Google
Ya no change in back link and PR but only SERP is ups and down, I thing some data center has been updated.
i recently getting SEPR usually 10 visitors per day from google, my site is not very much old, but still no Backlink or PR assigned from them
The word of Matt Cutts about it : http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/explaining-algorithm-updates-and-data-refreshes/
Same case here My SERP results went from top 10 to now in 30s.. There are some updates happening... which i hope is tempararily affecting
I read that post.... Matt Cutts say that it's a regular base update nothing is happen is now day, just DC are refresh... So, in DC refresh google show past results ???
I still haven't seen all data centers showing newest PR from last update yet... what's taking them so looooooonnnnnnggg????
Something is definately happening my site has dropped to PR4... from PR5... i think this could be the start of the GBPR update... which will probably not settle until January!!!
I don't think the fluctuations in PR are from a new update -- I am fairly certain = 99.9% positive it is still from the last update not being settled into all datacenters as some are STILL showing PR from before last update for my home theater site. Some days my toolbar shows PR4 and some days it shows PR3 (which is what it was before the last update). Also my directory which I just started not long ago (and is predicted to have PR4 - FWIW) that should show at least some PR on the next update is still PR0 on all datacenters -- so I would say G is still playing catch-up from the last one.....
