Which social networks are actually driving traffic in 2025?

Social media is getting more competitive than ever in 2025. Some people swear by YouTube Shorts, others say Pinterest is making a comeback, and a few are still pulling tons of traffic from Facebook groups.
Which platforms are driving the most traffic for you right now?

 

For me, YouTube Shorts has been driving the most traffic lately; it’s remarkable how quickly content can gain traction there. TikTok still works too, but I’ve noticed Instagram engagement dropping. Curious if anyone else is seeing Pinterest picking back up?

Don't forget about sites like Mastodon, I've actually seen a decent amount of traffic from there as it's becoming one of my more primary social networks.

It's a pretty cool platform.

It's federated, meaning that different communities and niches set up their own instance/server.
