For years I have been monitoring all my shipments to early detect any problems (delays, lost packages, fake deliveries, etc.) before the customer files a claim, but this a huge cost and I am unsure if it is worth it.
    Thanks!

It is important to weigh the cost of monitoring against the potential cost of customer claims. Trusting in the reliability of your shipping provider may help offset some of your monitoring costs.

I have a small online business, managing my online sellvia store, so there are not a lot of orders. since sellvia dashboard allows you totrack every order for the beginning to the end, I do a regular check up everytime I process new order. When there are a few orders at once I'm used to do a check up once in a 3-5 hours just to be sure everything is going fine

    Hey Pasqal,

I know this thread is a bit old, but I came across it and thought I’d chime in. I totally get the struggle—monitoring shipments can be expensive, but waiting for customers to report issues isn’t ideal either. Have you found a better way to handle it since posting this?

These days, a lot of businesses are automating tracking to catch problems early without spending so much time on it. AI-powered solutions (like what we do at eshipjet.ai) can flag delays and issues automatically, so you don’t have to constantly check manually. Just curious if that’s something you’ve looked into!

I always track every order I have. Since I have this system built-in in Sellvia dashboard I don't have to pay for it, but even if I had to, I still would. Cuz as someone mentioned, you better solve the problem before it comes to you as a complaint from your customer

Is it possible to include the cost of monitoring in the price to make it less expensive overall? I feel like without proper control, it might not work well.

I guess you can monitor it manually if your store is not too big. And it also depends on the platform you're using, for example I don't pay sellvia anything but still can easily monitor all the orders in real time. Idk if there's a similar possibility in shopify or wix but I guess it has to be there
