Hey there, I'm looking for some advices about content on Twitter. I have sellvia store "Impulses" selling some tech stuff and gadgets, I have a few social media accounts that seem to develop just fine but Idk what to do with Twitter... What content goes viral there? Videos? Longreads? Or short informative posts? I don't wanna post only my sellvia products, only photos and videos of gadgets, need something more unique
I think the trendy content works better for twitter. You only need to bring something new to table with all the relevant and trendy tags. and participate in the trends in your desired area. I personally tested that as I post about an application and its premium features and post it with trendy hashtags. Boom its reach was outstanding.
Seems like we're stuck with "twitter". I like the name "X", my wife not so much. Posting stupid, controversial, 2-3 liners gets a lot of attention there. Make sure you buy the blue checkmark or your X's will be buried in X hell.
If you want your Twitter to really take off, try sharing not only your products but also cool gadget stuff, life hacks, or maybe tech-related memes. Short tweets that grab attention right away are what works. Videos or even GIFs also work well, especially when showing how awesome your product works
What annoys me the most is that if you don't buy the paid version, you won't have any chances of growing your page
Yeah I also was struggling with the same thig, tryig to develop my sellvia store twitter (or X) but got no luck and just quit. I didn't want to spend a lot oof money on ads or smth so yeah... Try adapting your posts to the latest trends in your niche and go with it. Good luck to you!
For a girl, natural photos + interesting thoughts or observations can be a great strategy. It doesn’t have to be anything revealing—what matters is style, personality, and content that resonates with the audience.
Well, I don't really think it's necessary to emphasize whether it's "girl" or "boy" content (it sounds kinda weird, there's no such thing in content). She is not just a girl who wants to improve her PERSONAL blog, but sellvia store OWNER who wants to promote a store and its products. There's difference between personal blog and business blog, just selfies or any other photos of yourself has almost nothing to do with you. If you're showing off your products on photos with you then yes, it's good. But that's it...
Don't just push the products, drop some useful tech tips, fun facts, and maybe a few cool behind-the-scenes moments to show the real side of your store. Keep it fresh with videos and GIFs, especially product demos, ’cause they’re the type of content that grabs attention and gets people talking. Share user-generated stuff too, like reviews or unboxing clips. It builds trust and makes your store feel more legit. And don't just post and ghost, engage with your followers through polls, questions, and Twitter Spaces to keep the convo flowing. It'll help you build a more lively presence!
It's useless platform now. In India there is nothing except political posts (those make no sense at all).
Their algorithm is a bit strange, prioritizing content based on your viewing habits. It assumes you prefer what you watch most. If you want to see different posts, start viewing content that doesn't involve politics. **Edit: By the way @digitalpoint isn't it time to change the category from Twitter to X?
Hey! I totally get where you're coming from. Twitter can be a bit tricky since it’s such a fast-paced platform, and finding the right balance between engaging content and promoting products can be a challenge. First off, you’re right not to just post product photos and videos all the time. People on Twitter are there for a mix of entertainment, information, and engagement, so it’s important to make your content stand out. A few types of content tend to do well on Twitter, especially for a tech/gadget store like yours: Short, catchy posts: Twitter is all about short, digestible content. Think quick, informative tidbits about the latest tech trends, cool gadgets, or upcoming product releases. You could also throw in some fun facts or surprising stats about tech—things that make people go "huh, I didn’t know that!" Engagement-driven content: People love to share their opinions, so polls and questions work really well. Try asking your followers about their favorite gadgets or tech trends. You can even ask questions like "What’s one tech gadget you can’t live without?" or "What’s the one feature you wish tech companies would add to their devices?" Videos and GIFs: Twitter loves videos and GIFs, especially if they’re short and eye-catching. You could post videos of product demos, unboxings, or just showcase how your gadgets work in real life. If you can add humor or an unexpected twist to your video, even better—it makes it more shareable. People on Twitter also love memes, so if you can connect them to your products or the tech world, that could work too. Behind-the-scenes content: People like getting a peek behind the curtain, so consider sharing content that shows how you source your products or what goes into running a store like yours. Maybe give a shout-out to your team, or share interesting facts about your suppliers or product features. It makes your brand feel more human and relatable. User-generated content: If you have happy customers who’ve shared photos or videos using your products, retweet them! This not only shows that people love your products, but it also gives you content without having to create everything from scratch. Tech news and updates: Since your store is in the tech niche, share news about the latest tech innovations, industry trends, or product releases. You can comment on those news stories or share your thoughts on them. People love to discuss new tech developments, and it positions your account as a go-to place for tech-related info. Hashtags: Don’t forget to use relevant hashtags to reach a wider audience. Use general ones like #Tech, #Gadgets, #Innovation, or even niche ones related to specific products or trends. Basically, to keep Twitter interesting, mix things up. Share some product-focused content, but also create posts that engage people, educate them, or entertain them. People are more likely to retweet and engage with your tweets if they’re more than just promotional posts. And hey, if you can tap into the occasional trending topic (without being too salesy), that can give you a nice little boost in visibility as well! Hope that helps!
Thank you SO MUCH for such a long descriptive answer, though I already got pack with ready content from sellvia, I will still consider your advices when post!!
I never into a politics and having no interest in it at all but don't know why only such posts in my feed.
Twitter (now X) thrives on short, engaging, and timely content that sparks conversations, trends, or quick reactions. Here’s what works best and why: 1. Concise, Punchy Tweets: Twitter’s fast-paced nature favors brevity. Clear, witty, or thought-provoking tweets get more engagement. 2. Visual Content (Images, GIFs, Short Videos): Tweets with visuals get 3x more engagement (retweets, likes, replies). 3. Trending Topics & Hashtags: Joining viral conversations increases visibility. 4. Threads (for Longer Stories or Insights): Threads allow deeper dives while keeping each tweet digestible. 5. Polls and Questions: Encourages interaction and boosts engagement. 6. Breaking News and Live Updates: Twitter is the go-to for real-time information. 7. Humor & Relatable Content: Funny or relatable tweets go viral easily. 8. Quotes and Inspirational Messages: Easy to share and resonate emotionally. 9. Engaging with Others (Replies, Retweets, Mentions): Twitter is a social platform—interaction builds community. 10. Controversial Takes (But Be Careful!): Debates drive engagement, but balance with tact. Best Content Strategy: Be timely (join trends, news, or cultural moments). Be visual (tweets with media perform better). Be engaging (ask questions, reply to others). Be authentic (personal takes stand out).
Great question Twitter’s a fast-paced platform, so short, punchy tweets usually do better than longreads. Try creating engaging threads like “5 budget tech gadgets that make life easier” or “This gadget looks weird but it’s secretly genius.” Add some humor, memes, and trending hashtags when you can. It keeps your brand human. Also, engage in replies, not just your own posts—build community.
