The Bible says women are weaker. There's a reason men are not allowed to hit women but women can get away with hitting men. The Bible does not say they have less of a brain like Islam does.

Women's rights in Christianity is different than women's rights in the Bible. Martin Luther was wrong about a number of things. If he really believed that beating your wife was okay then he was wrong.

See how easy that is to say?

Can you say "Mr M was wrong, women do not have half a brain?"

Can you admit that Muhammed was wrong about anything?

If man rules over women, then why do we find in the Bible two cases of where women function as God's grace and mercy? (Referring to Moses' birth, pharoah's daughter, and then Moses' mother nursing him)? I find it interesting that in a male dominated society as it was, God choose to use women. Lets also not forget the a WOMAN had to give birth to Jesus, he didn't just show up one day....

There was also a spy in Jericho who was a woman and was saved. I forget which one it was but in the geneology of Christ there is a prostitute.

There is no issue with a man ruling over a woman. The issue is how does he rule?

Is he a merciless jackass like Mr M who treats women as half a person? Or is a kind and loving king that does everything he can for his Queen? Even an atheist friend of mine got what it meant to be head of the household.

It was not a position of power. It's a position of high responsibility.

Lately there has been many right wing Christian groups being started by CIA in Canada (Every time they look in their finances, the money is coming from USA) and since Canadians do everything better than Americans, I have no doubt that soon enough, we will have even bigger and crazier nut cases than their American counterparts. :D

Indeed, you always reserve the bad words for Christians. Never for terrorists though. Are there any left wing Christian groups being started?

Here's a hint: You can tell if they are started by the CIA or not by whether they own a snow cone stand. If "tiger's blood" is the snow cone flavor on Thursdays after 2pm, then it's a CIA insider.

When a religious group uses post boxes as their address, hide the identity of people involved and their money is coming from USA and their pamphlet is printed in USA then I suppose it is a little bit suspicious, unless you claim that there are no Christians in Canada and that is the reason they have to import the "religion".

I'm not sure how this all excuses Mr M from claiming women only have half a brain.

It's very easy for Christians to look at things Christians are doing now and have done and say "they were wrong to do that."

I'm still waiting for a Muslim to say Muhammed was wrong about the brain capacity of women.

I think he was also wrong when he said that no one can ever draw a picture of him...as well as that Christians are a people of the book, which they are not.

Christians are a people of a PERSON, i.e. Jesus.

i find it odd that those who do not believe, when they get into trouble or have a life threatening event the first person they call on for help is "oh God please help me."

Proof of God? no one can prove to an unbeliever, but i could tell you an event in my life that happened when i was 2 years old that would make the hair on your neck stick straight out. God has shown to me who He is over and over many times. if not for Him and His divine protection i would be dead!

I am a sinner always in need of her savior the Lord Jesus Christ the only begotten Son of God who died on the cross to save me from my sins.

    Amen there, sister.

One of my favorite passages in the Bible comes from when John the Baptist was in prision and sent his men to make certain that Jesus was the Christ.

Now just before they arrived Jesus was letting the Pharisees have it. He told them that to "this generation (of vipers) no sign would be given."

Just afterwards the two men from J the B walked in and asked if He was the one. His answer:

Go and tell him of the signs that have been given... the blind see, the deaf hear, the lame walk, the dead arise...

No sign would be given them because none would be accepted by them. These were the very same signs they had been seeing all along which Jesus suggested as proof positive to John the B that He was the messiah. Now I am not saying that all here are like pharisees who do not believe. But I am saying that if one refuses to believe then nothing can change that mind.

How Did the Trinity Doctrine Develop?
Many think that it was formulated at the Council of Nicaea in 325 C.E.
The Council of Nicaea did assert that Christ was of the same substance as God, which laid the groundwork for later Trinitarian theology. But it did not establish the Trinity, for at that council there was no mention of the holy spirit as the third person of a triune Godhead.
    Constantine's Role at Nicaea
FOR many years, there had been much opposition on Biblical grounds to the developing idea that Jesus was God. To try to solve the dispute, Roman emperor Constantine summoned all bishops to Nicaea. About 300, a fraction of the total, actually attended.
Constantine was not a Christian. Supposedly, he converted later in life, but he was not baptized until he lay dying. Regarding him, Henry Chadwick says in The Early Church: "Constantine, like his father, worshipped the Unconquered Sun; . . . his conversion should not be interpreted as an inward experience of grace . . . It was a military matter. His comprehension of Christian doctrine was never very clear, but he was sure that victory in battle lay in the gift of the God of the Christians."

GOD never said all men are over women.

HE said Husbands rule over their wives.

The difference is my wife or wives are ruled by me, not the man next door.

The Bible clearly says "women submit to your own husbands"

    Not all men.
    That wouldn't work!
