No. You will be glad to know thesaunderschild isn't retired as of yet. The remake is coming out on the 24th. It is a reimagining of the original game, but I think it's gonna be more faithful to the original storyline. Now, if only the modern versions of RE2 and 3 got this amazing treatment. Both of those remakes had a lot of cut content, to be honest. And the zombies behind the gate to the RPD don't even die when you shoot them.
I have been waiting for a movie like Residential Evil. One of the best of Milla Jovovich. I love to watch zombie based movies.
You should check out one from the 80s called Hell of the Living Dead. I have it on DVD under the name of Zombie Creeping Flesh. There's a lot of scenes of exotic animals for some reason. Like when the soldiers are going through the jungle in a jeep, the director keeps showing random clips from wildlife documentaries. Once the zombies appear, it gets to be really gruesome fun with everybody being torn apart. Anyway, I have played the demo for RE4 several times. The controls are a bit on the meh side. Still, the game looks like it's a great remake, with a lot of heart pounding moments.
Well, I honestly think the RE franchise has been milked to death. LOL. Like, I always had to tell people that Capcom is obsessed with Raccoon City. With how they are, you would think Capcom believed that was the only city on U.S. soil. They really are a one trick pony kind of developer. All they do is rehash ideas, copy other people's games and movies, and tell a pack of lies. They nuked the damn place in the original RE3, which was released in 1999. Right? But then they felt compelled to create various mediums, or at least publish them when a third party was involved, when they all covered the same thing, more or less. That being the end of Raccoon City. Seriously. Capcom made the franchise feel really sad by the time the RE Engine era began in 2017. It has been a crappy franchise for ages now, and they even changed Wesker into a black dude. I remember when these idiots said that RE7 was "too scary" or something, despite the majority of fans wanting the survival horror appeal to return, as 5 and 6 and even 4 were all action oriented. Capcom then used that as a huge excuse to make RE8 a clone of RE4 with over the top fantasy nonsense and a lot of action. So I mean, yeah. Capcom just sucks.
